The Winter Song
Cape Town is Africa's number one tourist destination. In December people flock here by the thousands, but during Winter it's a different story. To entice people to try Cape Town in June, July and August we sought to dismiss stereotypes about Cape Town and introduce potential visitors to a more colourful, diverse cast of characters than they've become accustomed to, as well as some of the incredible things you can still enjoy doing during the Winter months in the Mother City.
We added into the story a discount code for flights on a local, low cost airline and directions to an ebook of specials and deals from registered Cape Town Tourism partners; then we made a bit of a song and dance about it.
